Weird Galaxy Note Issue

I had a weird issue with my Galaxy Note last night. I got two battery low notifications, then when I checked it later looked like it was powered off. So I plugged it in to charge, but the battery charge display didn’t come on. Neither did the device power on after a while.

I got up this morning and tried different electrical sockets and chargers, thinking maybe the device wasn’t getting power. Nothing happened visually on the device.

Then I pulled the battery and plugged it back in, then plugged the device in. Subsequently the device powered on but said “Safe mode” in the lower left of the screen. In this mode the widgets did not work on the home screen and there were no apps apparently installed.

I powered off and the device hung while shutting down, so I held the power button to force power off.

On the next power on the device worked normally and displayed that the battery was charged to 100%.

My printer ate my USB stick. I dropped it into the paper feed slot and it disappeared. When I turn the printer upside down and shake it there is no sound at all of anything moving around. It’s gone.

Sitting Practice

I’m watching a series of lectures by Dr. Mark W. Muesse about meditation and beginning to practice.

So far I have discovered some of the difficulties I have when focusing on my breathing are:

Worrying about whether or not my timer will go off or I’ll hear it.
Thinking about the future.
Fantasizing about great things I could do.
Re-positioning myself.
Worrying about whether I am too hot or too cold.
Worrying if my posture is hurting my back.

This could take weeks or months of practice, but I am ready.

To support the simulation theory, perhaps splitting an atom results in an atomic blast as a debug feature to eliminate any entity that splits one.
